There should be more restrictions to credit card use because if there is no pressure towards people paying there bill loan then there will be no motivation and they will not care to pay, so then they will have a huge finance. There also should be more restrictions towards credit card use because people will over pay or take advantage of the loan and will not have the money by the end of the month to pay. This is why the economy is so low. Another reason why there should be more restrictions is because they might get stolen. If people don't want to have to owe a lot of money they should work and use their income money to pay back what they owe.

If I was in Louis L’Amour’s position I would wait until I healed and went out hunting. For the while that I was getting healed I would stay in a cave I found. I would rub 2 sticks together to make fire but if that didn't work I would rub 2 rocks together. I would find things and make myself comfortable. Texting while driving should not be allowed, a lot of people don't understand the concept that many people can still get into a car accident even while using a bluetooth. Using a phone while driving is related to drinking while driving. I would assess myself just by saying texting or using a phone while driving is or can be dangerous. Texting or using a mobile device while driving is the #1 cause of teenage driving distractions. I think using a phone in any kind of way while driving shouldn't be allowed.

        Here is how it all started. I was 11 in 2009 now it is 2011, do the math. Anyway, I was living with my mom in an upstairs apartment. I was like any other normal kid in my neighborhood, I would do homework, go outside, and hang out with friends and the whole thing. I used to think doing something bad made you feel bad so then you thought you were bad. This is how I used to be, “bad.”
        At first I was at my mom’s house doing my homework like a normal kid. Then I looked out the window and saw my friends trying to get my attention. For a second I didn’t know if I should stay and do my homework or go outside. I thought to myself “If I stay I will finish and get bored, but if I go outside I can hang out with my friends and do my homework later.” So then, I go to my mom tell her my homework is finished and walk outside. I saw my friends on the stairs. We all sat there for like couple of minutes. Later we all somehow randomly chose to play fight each other. I had to fight against my friend Adriana. We all had to choose a place to fight. But we chose the laundry room. My friend and I just started swinging and throwing punches at each other. We ended up all the across the apartments and somehow she pushed me against the glass window. …
IT BROKE!!!! She didn’t feel bad, I was the one who felt bad, I felt terrible. What was I going to tell my mom?
        All my friends ran and I stood there like the statue of liberty. I had the thought and feeling inside to run but I chose not to. I was too young to think about responsibility and choosing the bad decision. Then my neighbor came out and yelled at me. At first I was scared because she wasn’t very pretty looking but I got used to it. I went to walk at the park nearby. I stayed there for an hour and tried to figure how and why it happened. I walked home and as soon as I could see where my apartment was I knew what was coming... I walked in the house and the first thing I saw was my mom laying on her bed crying.
        “What’s wrong” I asked her
        “What am I going to do with you” she mumbled under her breath
        At first I thought it was normal for a parent to say that to their child but then I realized after a while she really meant it. I knew this because she had said this many times but this time she said it when she was crying. In the beginning I thought “Hey it’s just broken glass” but no, the only reason why I thought that was because I didn’t have to pay for anything. I felt terrible because we were close to being homeless and I was over here “having fun” breaking glass. I had a month of being grounded. That month went by slow. I was bored everyday I came home. Honestly I did deserve it.
        During this I felt compassionate, I felt like the bigger person taking responsibility for my friends and I. I learned a lot during this situation. This is one of the times that I became compassionate by taking a responsibility that was in fact mine to take.

My favorite thing to do on a boring Saturday is go to sleep then wake up clean my room and go back to sleep. I think Saturday is the best day to sleep because I have nothing else to do. Dragons' Den First Semester Week 12: Veterans Day

I would not enlist in the military because I know someone who once enlisted and told me about it. Movies TV shows all show the good part about enlisting which might be the money but there is more than just the money when you enroll. Another reason is it takes your life both ways. You pretty much never get to see your family, you never get to quit and if you die there is nothing left to it but your grave stone and money that would be given to your family. I would never enlist only if I would live alone and had nothing else to care about. I will and am not planning to enlist for Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, or Navy. Once upon a time, in a castle there lived a princess who was clean and Germaphobic. One day at school she got invited to a ball at an aquarium but she didn't want to go because usually there ends up to be  something bad like an argument or something.  Her best friend conviced her to go because she told her the cutest guy was going to be there. So they decided to go.
       Next when they got there it got really cold so Alyssa (princess) decided to use the restroom to change. When she came out all  her friends where gone. She shouted out all the names of her friend that she knew. They appeared to be at the top of the aquarium looking at the turtles. Her friends all tried to make her do something that she had never done before... They wanted her to make her hands touch something that has lots of germs in it... They wanted her to put her hand in the tank and touch a turtle. She reached in and as soon as she touched the dirty water she freaked out. Her friends around her taking pictures and watching her slowly. Next she reached in all the way and she felt what she thought was a tiny turtle. She took out her hand and thought about what she had done. She thought it was a mistake. She turned around and looked at all of her friends. They had nothing to say. They wanted to tell her something was behind her but they couldn't speak it was like something was holding their mouth down.
       Then someone ran in and said "There is a giant turtle behind you!"
She didn't believe them because she had never seen a giant turtle before so she walked away. When she realized everyone stood still and nobody was kidding she turned around and saw the biggest turtle she had seen in her life. She ran as fast as she could. She ran down the stairs trying not to trip over her shoes.. All she remembered was running and her friends at the door holding it open for her. When she woke up she was on her bed and it was all a dream.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 11: Sports & Grades

I think students or athletes should be required to have good grades in order to play sports because that way students will be motivated to keep their grades up for as long as the sport lasts or as long as they would like. I know this because I have played several sports myself and I know how it feels to not have the grades to play.  This year I played volleyball and I kept myself motivated to play in every game. I am also going to play basketball this year and I am going to  to keep myself motivated as well. I think If anyone is going to play a sport he or she should be aware of their grade and what it takes in order to play. This is what I think of athletes or students that are going to play sports and the grades they need in order to play.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 10: Homecoming

The spirit days were not that bad some of the days were good and some were alright. I liked the ideas that asb came up with. For example, like decades day that was alright, I liked seeing the different styles that everyone came up with. The pep assembly was good because I got to perform in it as well as others. For example,like winning with Brian B. The football game was as well was great everyone did awesome! I loved all the touchdowns. Good job to the football players. The dance was very awesome and fun. I think doctors should help critically ill patients commit suicide because it is less painless than slow death. A patient has a right to emphasize their feeling when they would like to end their life on their term. I think doctors should make sure everyone is OK or asked for consent because then they will no receive the wrong criteria from any of the patients family members. I plan to construct a Dia de los Muertos altar about Martin Luther King Jr.. His main character traits are he was brave and determined and always spoke his mind. He was a courageous and a leader.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 0: Video Games, Texting, or Sleeping

According to myself the reason why I sleep in the afternoon is because I am always so busy. I sleep because it makes me feel better rather than staying tired all day so when it comes to the point to do my homework at night I am tired and then go to sleep.
I decide to sleep whenever I have a chance to in between my plans. I enjoy sleeping because like I said before it makes me feel better. In my reflection I think I should sleep more so I don't get tired at night and I actually get to finish all my homework.:)

I think junk food should not be banned from vending machines because according to myself some students would like a snack sometime like during passing period or whenever you come back from a visit to the doctor and you missed lunch. I also think junk food should not be banned from vending machines in schools because this can also be another way the school can earn money . To me caring adults are more important than friends ,not saying friends aren't important, but I think this because caring adult can also be friends and help you when you need them like when you need a home. I also think this because caring adults can also become your friends and they can also become like your parents. You will also never have arguments or drama like you do with your friends your age. I interviewed Shaun. He expiered a time a time when he smashed up somebody car. He was 17 when this heppened. He said he wasn't innocent. He thought he did something stupid, he said he  could've killed his  friend, his face went through the windshield , they  had to go to the hospital, his friend had  cuts all over his forehead, Shaun was afraid his friend was going to have scars all over forehead. I believe both, the Ten Comandments do and do not belong in schools because most religion categories do not believe in some of the rules and some are not monotheistic. At the same time I do believe the Ten Commandments do belong in schools because kids need to consume what is wrong and what is right. -When I was 11 I was innocent because  I thought telling my friends and social worker that nothing happpened between my step dad and I.
Then I experienced never seeing my mom and my brother again.
This helped me to become compassionate because I  learned that I would never tell anyone anything and and be mature and keep things like this to myself.
-When I was 13 turning 14  I was innocent because I thought life didn't matter - like a time when I used to be rude to my mom and go with my friend and sleepover her house and drink. Then I experienced being in the system and not seeing my mom and missing her everyday … This helped me to become compassionate because I realized that no matter what she will always be there and that I wasted my time doing stupid things rather than being with my mom and brother.
When I was 11 I was fake fighting with one of my friends outside and we accidentally broke my neighbors window. Then I experienced facing her face to face and she was not very pretty. This helped me become compassionate by knowing not to do that again because I didn't like talking to her at all.

Dia de los Muertos - Article Summary

Dia de los muertos was started by the catholic calendar. All souls day is Nov. 2 following all saints day. Day of the dead is celebrated by Catholics around the world. Aztecs believed that when someone died his/her soul was taken to different dimension until is was headed towards its final destination. Day of the dead is celebrated October 31st and November 2nd. This is a very colorful holiday.Day of the dead is celebrated in Mexico, Ecuador, Guatemala, and other areas in Central and South America, The reason why this is celebrated is to bring back memories from when their loved ones where with them. People celebrate by bringing out their different colors and bringing out what they know their loved ones like.

I think teenagers should keep their social networking private because then otherwise they can prevent  themselves from the creeps trying to "hang" out with minors. I also think this because then if you do something and you don' t want the whole world to see you can just switch it to private. I also think if someone is posting something they obviously want the world to see if they don't have their profile on private, so if you don't already i recommend you to have your account as private. Dragons Den 7: Would You Rather?

I would rather get caught singing in the mirror than spying on my crush. I say this because I really don't have a crush. I am not a very good singer so if I got caught it would be kind of embarrassing but it depends on who saw me or heard me. Who sings to the mirror anyways? That is the question. But anyways if I did have a crush and I got caught spying on them that would be embarrassing but I’m pretty sure I wouldn't be the only one who has done it before. This is what I choose between singing in the mirror and getting caught spying on your crush.

I think that yes that the popularity of vapmire's will fade away because it has been used for many books and movies so it is starting to wear out. I think that twilight is the only vampire movie that I like. I think that it would also fade away because the plot is always the same so it is starting to get boring. The factor that these types of things that vampire movies use are now getting older and during time directiors try to change it but it all remains the same. In my opinion the voice of the directors are more non realistic trying to persuade people to watch but it all like I said remains the same and does'nt ever change. This is is what I think about vampires in literature and in movies. I think that vampires will fade away.

What I think about the people that donate things to us is that I am very thankful because they not only help us but use their own money to give us things we would like or need for example the football field or shop til you drop. I think people who do this to give us things that we need are very awesome and giving because without them we wouldn't have a field and we wouldn't have school supplies. Academic Language Week 6 - Citizenship

I think that undocumented immigrants should be given a citizenship because I am one myself and from my point of view I think it will SIMPLIFY things. At the same time I also kind of think that immigrants should not be given a citizenship because they should VERIFY so they could pay things they need to pay for example a house. I think if immigrants should have citizenship they need to still go through the paperwork SEQUENCE so then they can do possible things such as vote. This is what I think, personally, about undocumented immigrants being given their citizenship.

I think that some of the fears that teens have that follow while they are moving onto adulthood are living alone, sleeping alone, money. I think the main fear is money because when they are teens, some kids don't know how to save money but then they wonder how they are going to live their adulthood if they don't know how they are going to pay for rent and how they are going to live if they don't have money at all. I think that people should prepare for problems like this when they grow up so then they don't have to deal with these things and end up on the streets.

I think that children should get vaccinations and yes it is good for children because now days children are getting more and more sick faster and faster. I am not trying to say that vaccinations would prevent all sickness or diseases but it will prevent some and it will get them sicker slower. Most children are allergenic towards what gets put in their bodies,I think the doctor should illustrate what the child is allergic to before they vaccinate a child.I think that children should stay positive towards vaccinations because they help against sickness, diseases and diseases spreading. Estimating how many children have got sick and died are about 9 million.

I think this because when you are stuck in a situation it does get more and more difficult and if you get stuck the going or the situation will get more and more harder. Dragons Den:Life Lesson

The life lesson that I had to learn the hard way was the time when someone trusted me enough to tell me something huge but I ended up telling my other friend witch I thought I trusted then she told someone else and it went on and on until it got to the point where the entire school found out. What I learned what that I felt terrible after this and I told myself that I was not going to do it again. I might do it sometimes now but i know now who to tell and who not to tell. I think that if you want to make friends make sure you choose the right people. I am a type of person that likes to be alone most of the time but if I always have to have someone on my side when I need them the most. I know who the right people are. I know not to trust anyone with anything big unless they are someone I know I can trust but if it gets in the wrong hands, that's when i know who the wrong person is. 

Always make sure you know the person before you tell anyone anything, like E.M Forster said- One must be fond of people and trust them if one is not to make a mess of life.

Conflict: Later on in the story she gets pregnant, likes to get into fights, she tries to switch her life, away from drama but she cant she is soon to be kicked out.

Flashback-She has a flashback that she gets drunk with her friends and got rapped by an older looking dark man.

Dragons Den: Power Outage

During the power outage I was not scared but I thought it was actually fun. First i went to the cafe with the rest of the kids on campus. They had a rap battle but i thought it was kinda lame=0. Meanwhile they were playing music and a movie at the same time, I don't know how but it appeared to work out. We danced for a while then we just hung out for a while. Afterward I came home and my house and I came home and we told scary stories for a while, then we all slept in the living room. I thought it was fun but unfortunately its over now.!

"Dog Star" before you read: special animal

If I ever had an animal or favorite pet I would write about him/her right now but unfortunately I don't, so I am going to write about if a pet can be a human’s best friend. I personally think that a pet can be a human’s best friend. I think that if you are really close to your pet you can accomplish making a relation with a pet that may feel like a human is there, because no matter what you’re pet will always be there. Pets, I think, are not like humans. I think pets are beyond just a friend they are more related to you in some way. I think pets can always be a human’s best friend as long as they are being treated right. You can also do things with your pet best friend that you can do with another person, like ,tell them secrets, some pets might not understand but some do, also like play with them or hang out whenever you want to. I am an animal lover myself but personally I think pets can become a human’s best friend and there nothing wrong that. This is what I think of it myself.

The most dangerous game sequel

I woke up the next morning and laid there on that nice comfortable bed thinking, did I do the right thing. I heard bangs and scream downstairs so I decided to let the humans go. I felt like a hero but I also felt like a murderer. I went to take a shower and took the blood of my hands, wash my face and brush my teeth. I went downstairs to eat breakfast when I heard loud gunshots outside. I ran down to the basement but apparently I locked my self in. I heard loud footsteps upstairs like someone was searching for something or someone. They stopped so I looked through the basement to see if I would find a copy to the key for the basement. I found it. I quietly opened the door and all I saw was a strong light that came from the kitchen and holes through the walls from the shooting. I ran from the basement to the bathroom and from there I went to the kitchen. I couldn’t believe what I saw. I looked around and the kitchen was covered in blood .I looked through the drawers to look for a knife for backup but apparently that didn’t work they were all gone. I ran outside and there were 2 dead bodies and on top of their bodies laid a note that said don’t worry you won but you haven’t seen the prize yet. TO BE CONTINUED...

Most of the time you might see me wearing converse that's because that is my favorite shoe brand. I really like converse because they are very comfortable and you can use them for my favorite sport basketball. I really like this brand because there is so many and I wish I owned every pair. I like the purple kind because it is my favorite color and my favorite shoe. I see a lot of people on campus wearing them because they are in style and they will always be. This is my favorite shoe brand and what I think of them.

In the story "The Most Dangerous Game" general zaroff  is a man that thinks animals aren't good to hunt for and decides to make a decision. he plans to hunt humans to "solve" his problem. if i were in his shoes i would not hunt for anything at all, but i had to hunt for something it would be fish. anyways i think that his decision was terrible decision. i think the plot of the story would change

In my movie I am about to describe the main character Steve Rogers is going to be transformed from a skinny small guy into a big buff hot guy. The villain in this movie is "Hitler".1 example of how fascinating the villain in this movie is how during the whole movie he was wearing a mask that looked like a humans actual face. As soon as he took it off he had a red devils face. At the end of the movie Steve crashes in an airplane ride and wakes up 4 years late in New York City and no one recognizes him. This movie is captain America.

How do you feel about english 9?

I agree... that we should be able to make this class paperless’ also like the fact that if we didn't finish our homework then we get time in class to. I like the fact that we have to give you a hive five, hug or handshake at the end of class. I think it’s awesome that we get to decide what we think we should be graded on. I also agree that if we are late we get to work right away instead of wasting our time and waiting until the teacher is done talking to explain why we were late. I agree that we could go to class after school for tutoring and if not we have other people around to help us. This is what i think of the syllabus.

Dragon's den colors

I think the color that best describes me is purple because one, it is my favorite color and two, because purple is a bold color but it can also be a soft, light color. This color most represents me because if you get to know me very well you will know that I am bold more guyish than girlish but there is a side to me that a few people know that is very quiet and emotional, just like the color purple like its shades it has a dark side and a shallow side. I think this color descries me in many ways especially the bold part because I wont let anyone put me down or do something that hurts me because that’s just me! another way this color describes me is how boldness you can see in lions tiger and mainly the cat family that’s my favorite species the cat family. well if you get to know me you well get to see the nice and emotional side but if you don’t know me very well then you will see the bold side of me.

One day when  i went to the my 8th grade trip at d.c.It was really hot and humid i was wearing a long sleeve shirt with a jacket and sweats.while i was walking around  the monument about Franklin d. Roosevelt i started felling dehydrated and dizzy. so my teachers gave me lots of water and i had to stay on the bus for the white house and i couldn't go inside with my friends. the lesson that i learned was that you should always hydrate and wear comfortable and cool clothes on a hot day.i hope this does not happen to you it was a one time thing for me and it the other part of the trip was awesome.

movie summary

In this movie, Maid In Manhattan it talks about a maid who works for a hotel in new york,Manhattan.In town comes a new character a soon to be a new representative and accidentally walks into his hotel restroom while Maria (maid) is cleaning she walks out and he doesn't see her face. Another day while she was working she was working in a hotel where a lady haw a Gucci coat that coast 3,000 dollars. She was working with another worker and she told her to try it on when the Matt the representative walks in a meets Maria while she tells her name is Caroline. He thought she was living there for a while. This main idea of this movie is if you find a guy that loves you he has to love you in any way not just because you are rich or poor but because of whom you really are inside. Later on in the story it talks about how he really finds out who she is and they end up being together. I liked this movie because I have a happy ending and you aren’t always going to find the right guy. And when you do make sure he is the right one before you take it too far and say I love you.

First Day of School

Wow, you’ll never feel this again. Feeling like a freshman is the worst feeling in the world. Not really but it feels weird. I woke up on a regular Monday morning; I was exhausted from getting ready the night before. I had a nice outfit but unfortunately I have p.e first period. As I was watching everyone headed to the cafe I was trying to decide to go down there or stay home until it turns eight. Then I guess I decided to start walking down there. So then I went with my other housemate Chanda and saw my friends that didn't even recognize me because of my new haircut and hair color. First I headed to the gym for first period coach Burgos wasn't there the first day isn't that horrible. Well all we did was played my favorite sport basketball. Then I went to Mr, Kruger’s class and all we did was get to know him. After that I went to Mr.Fenick's class and went over the syllabus.After that class i went to lunch and we talked have fun and ate. Next I went to Ms.Priester's class and we learned how to use the computers and went over the files.  Then I walked all the way back to Mr .Orozco's social justice class and talked about racism,slavery and Harriet Tubman. Next I went to Ms.Davis's class for science and went over the syllabus,there was a lot of kids. Later at 2;45 the bell rang so I went home got ready for football..... This is my first day of school.
