"The Interlopers” Content Paragraph: Another Point of View

It was a dark night and I was out hunting.. I saw a shadow and thought to myself  " somnething to hunt"
I looked even bigger as I walked closer and It was my enmy ever since long ago.... George. We looked at each other and glared for almost 2 minutes. I looked up at the sky and it was getting darker and foggy. We both looked up and herd a loud noise. A tree had fallen on us. George's eye was bleeding. Right then and there we talked and argued. What I can remember was him saying my men where going to find me dead. We agreed to friendship. At first I couldn't understand the reason why he would argue when his eye was bleeding. I looked at him and he had a look on his face like he had seen a ghost. I looked up towards where he was looking at and he said he had seen a figure. We saw wolves.. eating him alive I tried draging him but they attacked me.

Dia de los Muertos - Pick a Person

I plan to construct a Dia de los Muertos altar about Martin Luther King Jr.. His main character traits are he was brave and determined and always spoke his mind. He was a courageous and a leader.
Martin Luther King Jr. used to be named Michael Luther King Jr. but was changed to Martin Luther King Jr.He graduated school at age 15. He was selected as senior president. Then later had a family with two girls and two boys.In December 1995 he accepted the leadership of the first great Negro nonviolent demonstration. At the age of 35 he was the youngest man to have received the Novel Peace Prize. April 4, 1968, Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated.King's efforts were not limited to securing civil rights; he also spoke out against poverty and the Vietnam War.
O -he was very brave- he was, in my opinion, a good president
A-he would always have a saying or quote
A-he would look casual or look nice wearing a tie and a  tux.
T- he thought some states should abolish slavery
S-" A lie cannot live."
"I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made straight and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together."

"Marigolds" Character Acrostic Poem

Jovial
"y'all get some stones" commanded Joey now and was met with instant giggling obedience as everyone except me began to gather pebbles from the dusty ground.
Obedient
"I'm scared and I don't want to go alone"said Lizabeth "I'm going out. If you want to come, come." so he did he chased her.
Energetic
"let's go somewhere lets go do something"
Young
"Joey and a bunch of kids were bored now with the old tire suspended from an oak limb, which had kept them entertained for a while."

"Marigolds" Summary Poem

Ashamed like a hare losing a race.
Behavior is like a little boy wanting ice cream.
Bored like a turtle in a lonely shell.
Brother is vastly inferior.
Compassion leads her a way that she has never been before.
Destroying her neighbors front yard realizing now she is changing, something is different.
Facing Ms.Lottie's she discovers someone she never knew she had inside her.
Father struggles with money while raising his son and daughter.
Flowers are flying everywhere like it is raining petals.
Great Depression, even the little ones felt the pain.
Innocence was once found inside Lizbeth but now is halfway gone.
John Burke son of Ms.Lottie who is hurt by her flowers that are gone.
Lizabeth does not know what to do after hearing that sadly her dad could not find a job.
Marigolds is now gone and so is Ms.Lottie's flowerbed.
Ms.Lottie is facing a girl soon to be adult.
Mother is blue about not finding a Job.
Pebbles are thrown to Ms.Lottie as she races towards them.
Rage is coming from Ms.Lottie.
Regreting the time she threw pebbles at Ms.Lottie.
Sobbing from when she was hit by Ms.Lottie's cane.
Throw the old innocence life you had and become compassionate.

"marigolds" lizbeth shoes paragraph

Promptb:
I remember a time when I heard my mom talkin about moving
Somewhere else because we didn't have any money. I was
Kind of scared at first because I thought that "somewhere
Else" would Probably mean the street. This had happened because my dad
Used to work for carpeting so he got a unexpected call
And went to LA to work for a week and my mom had no clue where he was
,so she assumed he was cheating on her and that's when she decide to leave him and move on
He came back a week later and my mom my sister and I were sleeping on one of my
Moms couches. I felt terrible and wanted to help my mom with money but I didn't know
How to, there was no job that would accept a ten year old. We had to sell most of he things we had and we ended up with not much but no we are unfortanetly scattered across the world.
But hopefully we all end uP together again.

"Marigolds" Before You Read: Moving into Adulthood

I think that some of the fears that teens have that follow while they are moving onto adulthood are living alone, sleeping alone, money. I think the main fear is money because when they are teens, some kids don't know how to save money but then they wonder how they are going to live their adulthood if they don't know how they are going to pay for rent and how they are going to live if they don't have money at all. I think that people should prepare for problems like this when they grow up so then they don't have to deal with these things and end up on the streets.

"Thank You M'am" Before You Read: Going Gets Tough

There is some truth to the saying “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.”
I think this because when you are stuck in a situation it does get more and more difficult and if you get stuck the going or the situation will get more and more harder. This has some truth because it is when those who act tough are not as tough as they seem until they get stuck in a situation they are as not as tough as they appear. This is what I think about this saying. I think that this saying has a lot of truth to what it means.
