Portfolio - Future

How do you feel about your future?
- I feel like my future will not be the brightest but I will go far. I know I can do anything because I have gotten this far. Because I've gone the farthest in my family it shows that I can go farther.
 What are your goals for the future?
-My goals for the future are not yet planned for me but I do know that I will make it through high school and I will go to college if I tried. I do have one goal to make it far in life and do anything that can help and be worth going for.
You may write about many goals, but you MUST write about school and your career plan.
-I don't have a career that I want to go for or a school that I want to go to, For now I just know I want to get good grades all 4 years.
How have your previous experiences prepared you to reach each of these goals?
-Because I made it through middle school with somewhat good grades I know I can make it through high school with good grades. Anyone can if they decided to.
 What do you need to continue to work on in order to achieve each of your goals?
-I need to work on less worrying on out of school thing rather than school projects and essays. I also need to work on having time for doing homework.
 Who will help you to achieve your goals?
-Anyone I ask to help me. Any adults and even any of people around me.
Do you genuinely believe you will achieve your goals? Why or why not?
-I don't I will achieve my goals because of other experience. I also don't believe I will because I don't like planning for things and going for them because I know it won't work.

Romeo & Juliet - Love at First Sight

I definitely  not believe in love at first sight. I don't believe in love at first sight because I have never experienced it , not that it is real, but I also don't believe in it because I don't think someone can just randomly fall in love with someone in just one sight.  Romeo and Juliet's love is not sincere because Romeo had just said that he wanted someone else and now all of the sudden he see's Juliet and he falls in love. I do not believe in love at first, I don't know why but I don't.

Academic Update Blog Paragraph

B: Share your academic goals for the remaining seven weeks of school and explain how you will achieve them.

My academic goals for the remaining seven weeks are to finish of with at least A's and B's. That way I don't have to go to summer school. My goals are to turn in every new assignment correct and on time. So far its really not working out but I'm trying. I don't want to go to summer school because I have had enough of school. Another reason why I don't want to go to summer school is because I don't want to have to wake up early in the morning to go to school again for another 6 weeks in the hot. I want to stay away from here as much as possible for the summer so I have something to do off campus. My goal is to end school with a 3.0 or higher, which means no summer school and no staying here having to wake up early in the morning and then nothing to look forward to for 6 weeks.

Ironic Story Blog Post

I remember a time when my sister and I decided to go swiming in our little inflatible pool. I was little back then. We decided right after school to use the time we had to fill up the pool with water and when we were finished make it looked like it never happened. So we got home from school filled it up with air and the inside with water. We played until it got kind of late. So we checked the time and it was 10 minutes before our mom came home we rushed in the house and threw our towels in the closet. We threw the water out of the pool into the bushes. We looked around and it seemed pretty nice so we both rushed to the shower, got out and we saw her car just parking in. She walks into the house with a bag. She went into our rooms to check out how clean they were. I totally forgot about the towels. She took off her belt and her pants? We were ready to get in trouble and grounded but she told us to put our suits back on? She dressed in her suit as well and we flated it the pool again. She had brought us snacks to eat. She had never done that before. I didn't understand why she was in a good mood but all I knew was to enjoy the moment.:)

Spring Break Blog Paragraph

D: Describe the most memorable day of Spring Break.
My most memorable day of Spring Break would have to be Thursday April 12, 2012 because that day my house decided we should all go on a long day outing to LA and see Beverly Hills as well as Hollywood Hills. We decided to leave around 11 arrive there around 1 and come back around 7. This would have to be my most memorable day of Spring Break because I didn't do anything else the other days. Another reason why this would have to be my most memorable day is because I never had a chance to go see famous star's house so this was probably a once in a lifetime opportunity.When we arrived we had a chance to get on a bus and tour which also gave me another opportunity to see different things that I haven't seen before. In conclusion, Thursday would have to be my most memorable day because I got to see things and places that I probably will not see for a long time.

Trayvon Martin Paragraph

     The shooting of Trayvon is important  to my life because when I become an adult I will worry that my kids are either living in a good neighborhood or not. I would  make sure my kids are aware when someone is following them and know what to do when it happens. According to what is happening now I am sure that when I grow up and have kids everything will be a little more safe. Another reason, why the shooting of Trayvon is affective it will help us in the future if the laws don't change it could be used as good evidence to help our case . The shooting of Trayvon not will only affect in the future but can also affect people now. It can affect other families worrying about their kids being safe. The shooting of Trayvon is relevant to my life, because I know that someday I can change something or do something about it and save at least one more life.

Rain, Vacation, or Zombies vs Vampires Blog Post Paragraph

I would honestly rather be attacked a zombie. I choose zombies because vampires can fly and can reach you when you least expect it. While zombies are dumb, run slow, don't have as much strength as alive humans, and if they do they are dumb enough and don't how to use it. Another reason why I would rather be attacked by a zombie is because I can easily run away as for a vampire it can fly and catch you before you can step. The last reason why I would rather be attackted by a zombie is because when you are a zombie you don't know what your doing but when your a vampire you have to go through the pain.

Testing Thoughts Paragraph

Taking the CAHSEE is a good thing because that way teachers can see how much the students have learned over the past year. Another reason why I think it is a good idea is because when you graduate by passing the CAHSEE whatever college you decide to go to can see your scores. I feel as if the CAHSEE can be good also to the students because some kids forget during the middle of the year what they have learned in the past. So by taking the CAHSEE you can remember what you forgot. I am a freshman and I'm not taking the CAHSEE this year but next year I will be prepared and ready because I know what is coming.

Technology in School Paragraph

         Ms. Priester uses technology to help me learn how to  submit work using forms which help things get organized according to, class, assignment, and student. For example when I started off my year as a freshman Ms. Priester introduced the class to blogger and forms. At first I started off with a bad grade because I wasn't used to forms and blog posts but now it is simple and actually very easy. This helps me because instead of writing down on a piece of paper, which kills trees, we get to use technology which is one of the very easy things to do. Another way it helps me is being organized when using Google docs that way we have a folder of which we keep track of all our assignments shared automatically to Ms.Priester. Future teachers can help their students to learn by using technology because in the future everything will be advanced so we should start learning now to be prepared for the future.

2 years ago, my cousin died in a car accident.
Crashing on the bridge I felt the tears running down my face.
Running to my aunt’s house with the fastest pace.
I couldn't imagine anything more worse then hearing her shout,
"NOT MY SON, PLEASE!!"
With my mom touching my back telling me it was OK
Everything just seemed and looked Grey.
Right there all I smelled was the bad feeling of negativity.
With my face full of tears now I tasted them getting in my mouth.
Myself feeling down, tearful, depressed and sorrowful.
I hated being here, I hated feeling this way.This actually seemed more like a fray.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 17: Free Choice

My topic that I chose to write about is basketball. There is nothing new but that our goal for this year is to get a banner. Our first league basketball game is this Tuesday and I am soooo exicted. I think if we do good and stay focused this year we can get a banner. I love basket and it is my favorite sport! This is my topic that I chose to write about.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 13: Saturday

My favorite thing to do on a boring Saturday is go to sleep then wake up clean my room and go back to sleep. I think Saturday is the best day to sleep because I have nothing else to do. I like sleeping because I get to catch up on my sleep when I can't during the week days. I hope to sleep in every Saturday because even though I am asleep I still fun! I love sleeping.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 12: Veterans Day

I would not enlist in the military because I know someone who once enlisted and told me about it. Movies TV shows all show the good part about enlisting which might be the money but there is more than just the money when you enroll. Another reason is it takes your life both ways. You pretty much never get to see your family, you never get to quit and if you die there is nothing left to it but your grave stone and money that would be given to your family. I would never enlist only if I would live alone and had nothing else to care about. I will and am not planning to enlist for Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, or Navy. This is what I think of enlisting as or for Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, or Navy.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 11: Sports & Grades

I think students or athletes should be required to have good grades in order to play sports because that way students will be motivated to keep their grades up for as long as the sport lasts or as long as they would like. I know this because I have played several sports myself and I know how it feels to not have the grades to play.  This year I played volleyball and I kept myself motivated to play in every game. I am also going to play basketball this year and I am going to  to keep myself motivated as well. I think If anyone is going to play a sport he or she should be aware of their grade and what it takes in order to play. This is what I think of athletes or students that are going to play sports and the grades they need in order to play.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 10: Homecoming

The spirit days were not that bad some of the days were good and some were alright. I liked the ideas that asb came up with. For example, like decades day that was alright, I liked seeing the different styles that everyone came up with. The pep assembly was good because I got to perform in it as well as others. For example,like winning with Brian B. The football game was as well was great everyone did awesome! I loved all the touchdowns. Good job to the football players. The dance was very awesome and fun. I can't wait for next year. Good job asb. Great work with everything!

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 0: Video Games, Texting, or Sleeping

According to myself the reason why I sleep in the afternoon is because I am always so busy. I sleep because it makes me feel better rather than staying tired all day so when it comes to the point to do my homework at night I am tired and then go to sleep.
I decide to sleep whenever I have a chance to in between my plans. I enjoy sleeping because like I said before it makes me feel better. In my reflection I think I should sleep more so I don't get tired at night and I actually get to finish all my homework.:)

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 8: Friends or Adults?

To me caring adults are more important than friends ,not saying friends aren't important, but I think this because caring adult can also be friends and help you when you need them like when you need a home. I also think this because caring adults can also become your friends and they can also become like your parents. You will also never have arguments or drama like you do with your friends your age. You will also never argue about stupid things like the person you like and who they like. I think that caring adults are more important or better than friends.

Dragons Den 7: Would You Rather?

I would rather get caught singing in the mirror than spying on my crush. I say this because I really don't have a crush. I am not a very good singer so if I got caught it would be kind of embarrassing but it depends on who saw me or heard me. Who sings to the mirror anyways? That is the question. But anyways if I did have a crush and I got caught spying on them that would be embarrassing but I’m pretty sure I wouldn't be the only one who has done it before. This is what I choose between singing in the mirror and getting caught spying on your crush.

Ashamed like a hare losing a race.
Behavior is like a little boy wanting ice cream.
Bored like a turtle in a lonely shell.
Brother is vastly inferior.
Compassion leads her a way that she has never been before.
Destroying her neighbors front yard realizing now she is changing, something is different.
Facing Ms.Lottie's she discovers someone she never knew she had inside her.
Father struggles with money while raising his son and daughter.
Flowers are flying everywhere like it is raining petals.
Great Depression, even the little ones felt the pain.
Innocence was once found inside Lizbeth but now is halfway gone.
John Burke son of Ms.Lottie who is hurt by her flowers that are gone.
Lizabeth does not know what to do after hearing that sadly her dad could not find a job.
Marigolds is now gone and so is Ms.Lottie's flowerbed.
Ms.Lottie is facing a girl soon to be adult.

Pebbles are thrown to Ms.Lottie as she races towards them.
Rage is coming from Ms.Lottie.
Regreting the time she threw pebbles at Ms.Lottie.
Sobbing from when she was hit by Ms.Lottie's cane.

Dragons Den: Campus Donations

What I think about the people that donate things to us is that I am very thankful because they not only help us but use their own money to give us things we would like or need for example the football field or shop til you drop. I think people who do this to give us things that we need are very awesome and giving because without them we wouldn't have a field and we wouldn't have school supplies. This is what I think about people who donate things or money to us.
